Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of white bread, thickly cut
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 slices Alderney cheese
  • Homemade tonnato
  • 1/2 oz. black olives, pitted and chopped
  • Handful of lettuce

Tonnato

  • 7 oz. tuna
  • 1/2 oz. capers
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato puree
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Butter one side of each slice of bread and layer the tonnato, olives, cheese and lettuce. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side down.
